Network Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation, operation, and continuous optimization of network products and services
• Collaborate closely with Network Product Engineering, TSM, Cyber Security, Cloud, and Workplace Enterprise Services teams
• Deliver network services across projects, operations, optimization, automation, and security
• Partner with business and technology teams to design architectures and solutions aligned with business needs and strategic technology objectives
• Conduct regular audits and proactively identify and remediate network risks and issues
• Influence key technology solution investments in line with our strategic roadmaps
• Ensure operational support for block, object, and file storage both on-prem and in public cloud environments
• Work with automation teams to design, code, test, and deliver software that automates repetitive operational work
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority network incidents, leading blameless postmortems and ensuring permanent closure
• Prepare high-quality CRD, HLD, and LLD design documents
• Plan, sequence, and schedule project activities and create effective project plans
• Lead and implement infrastructure changes during maintenance windows
• Plan and conduct rigorous wireless network testing, generating detailed performance, security, scale, and resiliency reports
• Design and implement wireless solutions in multi-tenant environments
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of public cloud connectivity solutions: Cloud Exchange, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute
• Identify gaps between requirements and current procedures/controls and drive resolution of mitigating controls
• Collaborate with business partners to implement enhancements to existing processes and applications, introduce new processes and tools, and participate in process re-engineering

Requirements

CCNP/CCNA certification

• Advance knowledge in WAN/LAN is required
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience, including at least 2 years in large-scale network architecture, implementation, and support
• ITIL certification is considered an advantage
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Experience working in large enterprise environments and collaborating with vendors and external service providers
• Automation-first approach
• Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following: SD-WAN, wireless, network security, data centers, cloud networking, or network automation
• Solid understanding of high availability design, implementation, optimization, and operations
• Agile enterprise mentality with a proactive approach to learning and skill development
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and collaborative skills, with experience working across diverse, global, matrixed teams
